About me
I am a 3rd year Ph.D. student and a 5th year in the Sociology program. Prior to joining UNL, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado, where was a McNair Scholar. In the spring of 2021, I completed my master’s thesis that examined protective factors associated with the perpetration and victimization of dating violence under the guidance of Dr. Tyler. Broadly speaking, my dissertation examines men’s reproduction and reproductive health.
When I’m not being a graduate student I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and checking out local parks with my dog, Kirby.
Courses Taught
During my time at UNL, I have been an instructor of record for 1 section of Family and Society (SOCI 226), 2 sections of Social Problems (SOCI 180), a recitation instructor for 5 sections of Intro to Sociology (SOCI 101), and a teaching assistant for 2 sections of Drugs and Society (SOCI 309).
