About me
I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have a BSS in Sociology and a MS in Development Studies from East West University, Bangladesh. I have worked as an Intern at Bangladesh Institute of Labor Studies (BILS). Subsequently, I have completed my master’s thesis on “Women Empowerment in the Rural Areas of Bangladesh”. My research interests include - family, health, mental health, gender and social inequality. However, coming from a different country with a different background, I never felt like an outsider here. The welcoming ambience of University of Nebraska-Lincoln has always been helpful since the first day.
