Bio
I hold a BA, BA Honours degree and a MA in Sociology in the Humanities faculty at Rhodes University in South Africa. My MA explored the ways that Black Queer people create spaces in post-apartheid South Africa. I am also a Fulbright scholar and a Mail and Guardian top 200 young South Africans for 2020. At UNL I have taught Gender in contemporary society and the Introduction to Sociology classes. Prior to that I had worked as a Project Manager in the health and human rights centered NGO sector and worked as a columnist for both online and print media for a few years.
