About Me

My first contact with scientific research took place during my bachelor's degree in business administration in Brazil (where I was born and studied until my master's degree), in which I was able to carry out qualitative research such as case studies and mixed method research such as virtual questionnaire application and content analysis.

After college, I could work as a professional researcher at Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), on a project that implements innovative solutions in companies with management problems.

In parallel with my industrial research, I realized my master's degree in education, in the research line of society and culture. Right there, I investigated how teachers and young students in public schools perceived affection and sex education.

Furthermore, during my master’s degree, I could interview several people who had suffered sexual violence, which made me interested in the topic related to heterosexual masculinity and more specifically how the consumption of pornography by heterosexual men relates to domestic violence against women and paternal abandonment.

I intend to complete my PhD in Sociology and work as a professor and researcher in the academia environment, precisely in the pointed areas.
