Research
My research focuses on the intersections of gambling, health, and family life. Another line investigates family and interpersonal violence, particularly sibling violence and its overlooked dynamics. I also study gender and health inequalities, including how women navigate healthcare systems. Additionally, I remain engaged in projects focused on adolescent health, social problems, and the impact of public policy on vulnerable populations.
Teaching
I have taught and assisted in multiple courses, including Social Problems and Sociology of Crime. In Summer 2025, I independently designed and instructed SOCI 180: Social Problems, where I integrated data-driven assignments, discussions, and assessments to help students connect personal experiences with broader social structures.
