Sociology Department PhD student, Alice MillerMacPhee, was selected as one of five students to present in UNL's first Science Slam event. The event is a first of its kind for UNL and one of very few that have taken place in the United States. The event was showcased on Lincoln's Channel 8 news station's Excellence in Education segment.
