About Me
I'm a Masters student in Sociology at University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara. I intend to focus my graduate studies on neural and personality correlates of hierarchies in small-scale social networks; effects of concussions on likelihood to engage in high-risk or criminal behavior; and network theory and agent-based modeling approaches to better predicting sociopolitical outcomes, specifically the rise and fall of dictatorships. Ultimately, I would like to work in both academic and applied research settings on policies relevant to these interests.
Outside of the classroom, I can be found fishing and biking my way around Lincoln, exploring local craft brews, and desperately praying for the Sharks to win the Stanley Cup.
