The Undergraduate Sociology Advisory Board is pleased to announce that Trish Wonch Hill is the recipient of the 2016 University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Undergraduate Sociology Teaching Award. If you get the chance, please congratulate Trish Wonch Hill on winning this award. It is important to note that the nomination and selection process for this teaching award was done entirely by students.

The Undergraduate Sociology Advisory Board would like to thank everyone who participated in the online survey in spring 2016 to nominate your favorite sociology teacher. We also want to thank everyone who volunteered to be interviewed about their favorite teacher as well. Please keep your eyes peeled for emails in the future on who you would like to nominate for the Teaching Award later this year.

The Undergraduate Sociology Advisory Board was created last spring semester in order to provide important student feedback to the sociology department. The Undergraduate Sociology Advisory Board is made up of current undergraduate sociology majors at the university.

If you are interested in joining the Undergraduate Sociology Advisory Board in the future, please contact Dr. Brandon Bosch.
