Congratulations to the following UNL undergraduate sociology students who took honors at the Nebraska Undergraduate Sociological Symposium.

Megan Stevens-Liska placed first in the theoretical/literature review portion of the undergraduate student paper competition with a paper titled, Threatening Islam's Critics: Islamic Extremists' Use of Fatwas as a Defensive Response to Globalization.

Erin Culhane placed third in the empirical portion of the undergraduate student paper competition with a paper titled, Employment and Criminal Records.
