Hsuan-Wei (Wayne) Lee is a postdoctoral fellow at REACH who received his PhD in mathematics from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2016.  Having a background in mathematics and business, he is an applied mathematician who has a passion for working on interdisciplinary projects. Often using a framework of complex networks, he investigates all kinds of dynamics and uses mathematical and statistical methods to understand the sophisticated collective behavior behind those systems. At REACH, he is working on formal and applied mathematical models of dynamic social networks, and how simulated versions of these models can be analyzed and understood.
