Helen Moore will receive the Carla B. Howery Award at the upcoming Section on Teaching and Learning ceremony of the American Sociological Association.
"This award is given annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to teaching sociology through mentoring and training of graduate students to teach sociology and contribute to the scholarship of teaching and learning," the ASA website says.
Helen's research focuses on education and inequality, as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning.
