I completed my M.A. in Sociology in August of 2005 at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. In the fall of 2005, I taught Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Anthropology and Nation, Race, and Ethnicity at the American College of Norway in Moss Norway. In the summer of 2006, I took a research position at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. There I was involved in research on teenage smoking cessation and doctor-patient relationships. I am currently in my first year as a Ph.D student in the Sociology Department at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My primary areas of research interest are sociology of health, sociology of family, and research methods. Currently, I am exploring how children are affected when their parents transition from cohabitation to marriage or separation. This summer I will be teaching a undergraduate statistics course. When I have free time I like to spend time I like to keep up with politics, drink coffee, camp, and hangout with my family. M.A.: University of North Dakota-Grand Folks Email: mikestev@gmail.com |
