I have been a graduate student at UNL for the past 5 years. In 2004, I earned a B.S. in Sociology, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Riverside. In 2006 I earned an M.A. in Sociology from UNL. My current research focuses on international comparisons of environmental attitudes. I am also engaged in research in other areas as well. In order to engage in this research I use a variety of statistical techniques including HLM, SEM, OLS, Logistic and Multinomial Logistic regression techniques, and a variety of univariate techniques. I enjoy teaching courses in research methods, nationality and race relations, social problems, and introduction to sociology, and am interested in teaching courses in environmental sociology, stratification and inequality, and statistics. My general research interests include Environmental Sociology, Methods and Statistics, and Social Theory, among others. In my free time I play the guitar, ride my bicycle, and play with my dog, Amelie. M.A.: University of Nebraska-Lincoln Email: abedrous@yahoo.com |
